A brewery in the UK created a Label Contest with an editor for fans to invent new beer concepts. Participants came up with a name for their new beer concept, entered their name and description  of it. Using a custom online editor, they could design their concept label by selecting, resizing and positioning images and other design elements. They could also change the colours of the label generating an original design.

Beer_Label_ContestThe campaign was promoted using a Twitter hashtag and entries published on the company site.

This is a nice example of a creative contest that is custom-made but simple enough to capture the imagination of customers.

Label Design Contests can be useful for almost any Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) brand.
