ComicReply attends the 2012 KidScreen Summit in New York

ComicReply market research at KidScreen Summit

We had a great time at the 2012 Kidscreen Summit in New York with the Youth Media Alliance, introducing ComicReply to production companies, broadcasters and distributors.

From our conversations it become clear that there is a need for inexpensive social engagement tools for kids media brands and ComicReply is the type of platform that can make it happen.

Exploring a variety of creative contest ideas we found that the most common is a simple Comics Contest and Character Contests for character-based brands.

We realized that practically every cartoon can have it’s own Comics Contest on the web and as a mobile app. Using the platform to launch many similar contest will still keep them unique as each cartoon has it’s own look and feel and content assets (backgrounds, characters, props, etc.). For example, a Comics Contest for the Simpsons will be very different from a Comics Contest for the Muppets because the content is totally different.

We are excited to finish fixing bugs, and refining the platform so it can be used by many cartoon brands!
