A Toronto Advertising Week trivia game shined a light on the country’s proud creative past
As the Canadian Advertising Museum (CAM) broadens its scope and increases awareness, its organizers are starting to have a bit of fun. Take this past January during Advertising Week in Toronto. In partnership with Giant Step Communications, the museum (currently online only so if you have a spare storefront worthy of Canada’s marketing heritage, get in touch at CanadianAdvertisingMuseum.com) created a quiz on their site.
The contest, titled CAM’s Ad Trivia Guru, invited Advertising Week attendees to test their knowledge of Canada;s ad history and posted the top 10 Ad Gurus daily.
Mike Westendorp took home the bragging rights after beating out dozens of players.
