Umpires Media present the Baseball Rules Explorer at Always On‘s Silicon Valley Innovation Summit.

Umpires Media provides video sports rules explanations. Ever watched a sports game where something happens, the umpire makes a call and nobody know why it is so? In those situations everyone is confused – the players, coaches, audience, even the media reporting on it. Umpires Media is set to solve this problem by providing umpire-level video explanations of every rule, delivered via a mobile app, licensed to TV stations, audio for the radio, and interactive training for umpires, coaches and players alike in yearly certification programs.

For their first product, the Baseball Rules Explorer, Umpires Media needed a simple admin panel to host all of the sports rules text and video explanations, presented in a v.1. searchable interface for baseball fans. Using some of the most basic features of ComicReply we provided Umpires Media with a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) that is a live demo and can be presented to investors.

This week Umpires Media presented this MVP to an audience of investors at the Silicon Valley Innovation Summit 2015. Launched in the summer of 2003, the Silicon Valley Innovation Summit is the premier annual gathering of the brightest minds and top entrepreneurs, investors, and corporate players in the Global Silicon Valley. This two-day exclusive event treats attendees to a high-level debate and discourse on top trends and opportunities in the booming digital media, entertainment, on-demand and cloud computing sectors. The Innovation Summit is produced in an intimate and social setting, where participants can easily meet up, socially network, and make deals happen.
