The pet industry has been growing by leaps and bounds in recent years. There are so many products and services for pets but surprisingly almost no Pet Comics Contests.
An early experiment we did for a pet supply brand called Scoopy Bags proved that pet lovers are eager to make a comics with their pets. Every month we would run a contest inviting pet comics entries for a chance to win a year’s supply of pet clean-up bags. To enter participants uploaded 4 photos of their pet and added clip art and talking bubbles, a title and submitted their pet comics to the contest. Then they share it to get more votes to win prizes. By having the contest on the brand’s site visitors learned about the contests and entered. We also submitted it to contest listings which brought more entries.
